Welcome to the first edition of UMBC Eats, our wellness-inspired cookbook! We are excited to be launching this faculty/staff community cookbook in the hopes that it will inspire us to make healthier choices every day. We all have the same 24 hours and what we do in those 24 hours counts. What we know is that, on average, it takes more than 2 months to create a new behavior. We also know that many chronic diseases can be avoided or reversed through healthier lifestyle choices such as nutrition.
With the start of the new year, we challenge you to recommit to healthier eating. We invite you to download the cookbook to get favorite, healthy recipes from your UMBC colleagues.
