Student Health Insurance Reminders

If you have an insurance plan through your job, your parents, or Medicaid and you don't want UMBC's health coverage, make sure to complete your insurance waiver and upload a copy of your insurance card to the Retriever Care Portal by Friday, September 15th.

You can access the portal at health.umbc.edu.  Once you've completed the waiver and uploaded your insurance card, it will take the Insurance and Billing specialists some time to review your documents, so don't worry if it still says "Processing."
